Its really difficult to forget this day, or I can say this day wont ever let me forget it. My ICSE results came out this day. After a lot of harwork, ups and downs, criticism and finnaly some useful notes helped to score a ravishing 86.4%. What more can a humanities student ask after loosing all hope to pass in maths (which finally I did) and yet scoring 90s in double subjects?
I expected my percentage to swing between 70s -80s but to my utter surprise it knocked 85+.
Indeed, I won a war against myself. To show that my emotions cant overtake my skills. So, many things in the world attracted me before, but I learnt to steal a glance from them, I learnt to love my own things (irrespective whatever amount or quality it is).
The dream of getting a personal cellphone came true. During class 9-10 when I almost hated my mom for not giving me access to a personal cellphone, but a tremendous satisfaction runs through me when I see my classmates scoring a not-so-cool percentages but still fidling wid the useless cellphones. Losers! Definately, I save myself this guilt.
